My fur baby Bella who is a rescue hates anyone thats breathing an warm red blood running through their veins. I'm not joking. Thanks to the wonderful staff they can not only wash her but clip her nails. I have 3 fur babies an I never have to drag them in there. Powderpuff actually runs in there to greet them. Maddy24/01/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We only recently moved to the area and our little toy cavoodle fell unwell. Moffat Beach Vet got us in as soon as we called- they were caring and attentive, explained everything well and quoted before treatment. Our dog is now back to herself and very grateful for the team! Colleen21/01/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We take our little dog Patch to Moffat Beach Vets grooming. Patch can be very boisterous and stressed when it comes to getting his hair cut much to our dismay but we have been working with the team to find something that works sedation wise. Yesterday Patch decided again he wasn’t having a bar of it. The groomer and the team were beautiful and AMAZING! We all worked together and Patch came out happy, handsome & looking slick in his new bandana. His “hairdo” is perfect thanks to the wonderful groomer. We are very grateful 🐶💗 Vivian Frearson17/01/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Common Questions Asked by Cat Parents
A few helpful tips for bringing your cat to the vet. Can’t find an answer? Contact our team.
How do I know if I need to take my cat to the vet?
It’s important to take your cat to the vet if you notice changes in their behaviour, eating or drinking habits, litter box use, or physical appearance, such as weight loss, vomiting, or excessive grooming. Regular check-ups are also essential to catch health issues early, even if your cat seems perfectly fine.
Is it ok if I never take my cat to the vet?
Is it traumatic for cats to go to the vet?
A trip to the vet doesn’t have to be stressful! At Moffat Beach Vets, we use Fear Free techniques designed to reduce anxiety and create a calm experience for your cat. We’ll work with you to make the visit as smooth and comfortable as possible.
How do I bring my anxious cat to the vet?
Start by choosing a secure and comfortable carrier for your cat, and leave it out at home for them to explore before the visit. Cover the carrier with a towel during transport to reduce stress. At Moffat Beach Vets, we’re happy to provide advice or even pre-visit pheromone sprays to help calm your cat.
