Morticia is our clinic cat! Be sure to say hi to her when you next come and visit.
She oversees all activities at the Surgery and can often be found having zoomies around the clinic or lazing about while the girls do the work to keep her fed.

At home, Nikita is a loving pet parent to two energetic Boxers, Sadie and Stanley, who keep her on her toes and inspire her commitment to pet well-being. Her warm demeanor and hands-on approach ensure that every visit to the clinic feels personal and caring.

Shay
Practice Owner & Veterinary Nurse
Originally a North Queensland girl, Shay has called the Sunshine Coast home for the past six years and has been a Veterinary Nurse for nearly four.
As one of Moffat’s co-owners, she wears plenty of hats — from nursing and patient care to social media, marketing and whatever new clinic project she’s decided to start that week.

She has a huge soft spot for nervous and misunderstood patients and loves earning the trust of the ones who need a little extra patience.
Outside of Moffat, you’ll usually find her with her Staffy Armi, reading a book, doing yoga or somewhere out doors in the sun.
For Shay, Moffat is much more than a workplace — it’s her second home. 🤍

Originally from Townsville, Dr Belinda brings expertise in surgery, reproduction, and emergency medicine.
Having previously led an emergency medicine workshop in the Philippines, Dr. Belinda is eager to share her knowledge and passion.
She’s looking forward to meeting you and your furry companions—be sure to give her a warm Caloundra welcome when you see her at the clinic!

Dr Susie joined us in November 2024, relocating all the way from Western Australia. Dr Susie has a keen interest in veterinary dentistry and loves specialising in this area of care.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and all things outdoors. Dr Susie is also the proud mum of two dachshunds, Timmy and Ollie.

Taylor is a Cert IV qualified nurse who moved to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane. She shares her home with a black cat named Koa, who we’re currently trying to help become friends with Morticia.
In addition to domestic animals, Taylor also has a special interest in wildlife.

Tim is the welcoming face you’ll find on reception at Moffat Beach Vets, ready to help with all things customer service. Known for his friendly approach and dedication, Tim goes above and beyond to ensure every client feels comfortable and well-supported.
When he’s not at the clinic, Tim is either playing AFL or hitting the waves down at Moffs, where he finds his balance between work and play. He’s also the proud dog dad to two lively boxers, Sadie and Stanley, who keep him busy and bring plenty of joy to his life.

Gabriela is a Certificate IV Veterinary Nurse who recently relocated from Sydney to Moffat Beach. She is devoted to delivering exceptional patient care and has a special interest in animal behaviour, focusing on creating a calm, positive and safe experience for both the animals and their owners.
Natalie
Groomer

Natalie is a qualified groomer with over 15 years experience pampering pets. She is always keeping up to date with training and new techniques and will look after your furry friend as she would her own.
You know your fur baby is in good hands with Natalie. She sterilises her equipment between grooms to keep your pets safe from disease.
Her day spa treatment includes a bubble bath, massage, blow dry, pedicure and style. Natalie is looking forward to meeting your pets and making them feel special.
Hayley

Originally from Canada, Hayley has called the Sunshine Coast home for almost three years now — and lucky for us, she found her way to Moffat Beach Vets!
Before making the move to Australia, Hayley worked on reception at a veterinary clinic back home, so while you’ll mostly find her out the back making your pets look (and smell) fabulous, you may occasionally spot her helping out at reception or hear her on the other end of the phone.
Hayley picked up an interest in grooming last year and has since worked closely alongside our long-time groomer, Natalie, learning the ropes and quickly finding her groove. Hayley brings a very chilled energy to the grooming room and fits right into the Moffat chaos.
